Free entry to 130 museums

From 10 June to 15 November 2026, you have free entry to over 130 museums in Schleswig-Holstein! This applies to everyone under 18 and anyone with a valid Juleica (Youth Leader Card).
On 15 and 22 October 2026, your MuseumsCard is valid as a ticket (for anyone under 18 or with a Juleica) on all local trains, 2nd class, in Schleswig-Holstein as well as to Hamburg Altona or Hamburg Central Station, and on public buses in Schleswig-Holstein.

You can use the MuseumsCard as a web app. That way, you’ll always have it to hand and can also use it to enter the prize draw. Simply open this website on your smartphone and your digital MuseumsCard will appear on the screen.
Would you prefer a paper MuseumsCard? No problem. You can simply collect the MuseumsCard from a participating museum, a Sparkasse-Filiale in Schleswig-Holstein or at the Landesjugendring at Holtenauer Str. 99 in Kiel. You can also get it from youth organisations, libraries and many tourist information centres, or you can <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.meine-museumscard.de/pressebereich" target="_blank">print it out yourself</a>.

Digital MuseumsCard

The MuseumsCard giveaway is back again this year. Collect three stamps and you’re in!
If you’d like to participate, you have two options:
<ol>
<li>Collect three stamps on your MuseumsCard at three different museums, then drop off your completed MuseumsCard—with your contact information—at a Sparkasse in Schleswig-Holstein by November 30, 2026. OR</li>
<li>Scan the QR code at three museums using your digital MuseumsCard. Once you’ve done that, a link to enter the stamp rally will appear.</li>

Over 130 museums participate in the MuseumsCard. On the map, you can see which museums are near you. If you click on a museum, you’ll be taken to kulturfinder.sh, where you’ll find up-to-date information on opening hours and exhibitions.
